New Brunswick Village, Liverpool. BLOK Architecture

New Brunswick Village / Liverpool

The site is located in the Dingle area of Liverpool and covers an area of 3.5 acres. The site is accessible from Caryl and Grafton Street. The site does not have a distinctive character as parts of it are unused grassland and derelict industrial sites.

The proposed development aims to be a catalyst for regenerating the local neighbourhood. The concept of the development is ‘living in a garden’, which promotes high quality communal space accompanied by private gardens. It respects and enhances the character of the surrounding buildings whilst promoting sharp and modern architecture. The dense environment of the project is sympathetic to nearby residential streets; narrow Mews Street for security. The design allows plenty of light to all dwellings due to the orientation but also provides city and waterfront views.
